Video Editor

Job Summary :

A Video Editor is responsible for creating engaging and high-quality video content that aligns with the company’s brand and marketing objectives. This role involves editing raw footage, adding visual effects, sound, and graphics, and delivering compelling videos for digital platforms. The Video Editor plays a key role in enhancing brand presence through creative storytelling, attention to detail, and timely delivery of content.

Responsibilities :

• Edit raw video footage into polished content for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Add transitions, motion graphics, text, sound effects, and background music to videos.
• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and content strategy.
• Review and revise videos based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Organize and maintain video assets and project files.
• Optimize videos for different platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Stay updated with current video editing trends, tools, and techniques.
• Assist with basic shooting, trimming, and exporting when required.
• Support other creative tasks such as thumbnails or short promotional edits when needed.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Media, Animation, Visual Communication, or a related field (preferred).
• 0–1 year of experience in video editing (freshers with strong portfolios or internships are welcome).
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects.
• Basic understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual flow.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and openness to feedback.

Preferred Skills :

• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and text animation.
• Familiarity with color correction and audio syncing.
• Experience editing content for social media platforms.
• Understanding of video formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
• Basic knowledge of tools like Photoshop or Canva is an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn new editing styles and software.
• Positive attitude and passion for creative work.
