Sales executive

Job Summary:

A Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and achieving revenue targets by actively identifying new prospects, building relationships with clients, and closing deals. This role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. The Sales Executive plays a crucial role in expanding the company’s customer base and promoting brand loyalty.

Responsibilities:

• Identify potential clients through cold calling, networking, and market research.
• Understand customer needs and offer suitable products or services.
• Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations for clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and provide post-sales support.
• Keep accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams for promotional campaigns.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions, or events to represent the company if needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development (freshers welcome).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings or field visits.
• Target-driven mindset with a focus on results.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CRM tools like Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or HubSpot.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing or lead generation strategies.
• Ability to handle objections and turn leads into customers.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Fluency in regional/local language along with English is an advantage.
• Prior experience in B2B or B2C sales (depending on industry) is a plus.
